Here you are and here your very soft and nice portraits are.. I liked your composition generally. Using flover on head and other details are giving strong combination to your capturing. I liked your using light and I assume that her make up is also good for this light condition.

This is beautiful. Love the colors. I have to ask. What type of makeup do you use? If you don't mind me asking. I try to play up the eyes in mine and I just can't get this. Wonderful work!!

Honestly, I use all kinds of makeup... whatever I like I use! My favorites are loose eyeshadows, I'm not a fan of pressed powders. I'm not even sure which brands I used specifically when I did my sister's makeup that day. If you have the money, M.A.C. pigments are THE BEST for eyeshadows. If you can't afford that just look around for loose shadows. Sorry I'm not more helpful!! LOL

Great looking model and I love the highlight colors from the flower. Not being an expert on make-up, many years ago (but that's another story) I think you could have made more of this area.
What I mean is, get rid of the net curtain, as to me this looks a little too posed, and concentrate more on the face, hair, eyes and make-up.Like the muted colors also....well done Melanie.

This shot was taken the same night as the 'Starlet' series. We had already done quite a few that focused on the makeup and were just playing around trying something different. I also thought it looked a little too posed... but still nice. I hesitated on posting it, but did anyway )
