Lovely shot, great light. I like how the sky fades to black, almost like its the edge of the world!

Kat Apps   {K:1139} 1/20/2005
Well captured Patrick. The image is so sharp. I can feel the stillness and crispness of the morning. The sky is amazing and the colours are so vivid. A great landscape. Great depth of field. Well done

Thank you everyone for your comments and thank you Faisal, I have changed my title. You were right.

Lasse Randeris   {K:32} 1/20/2005
Nice image with some good colors. But the horizon is in the middle or close to and that dosent suit it. crop a bit of the top, and it would be perfeckt, imo.

Fantastic light and great composition. You're very lucky to have access to this sort of scenery.

Carsten Ranke   {K:14453} 1/20/2005
Excellent shot, as always from you. Great DOF, perfect color balance. POlarizer + ND ? Dead horizon is ok for me here since there is much in the forground. Shape of the sheet of ice corresponds with the clouds formation, what a great moment. 7+

always joyful to look at your shot...
also for this one...
i love the composition and how colourful that scene...

James Hager   {K:6285} 4/8/2005
Wonderful light, and the horizon right in the middle works to let the sky, with the triangular cloud, have as much importance as the ground with the interesting ice chunks. Well done.
