About Just walking in the Greenbriar area of Great Smoky Mountains National Park this past October, looking for interesting things lying about. The background is flowing water. Probably shot at about f/16 and 5 seconds.

Glad to hear that the background is flowing water... at first it looked like you were very close to the edge of a cliff to get this shot. The water has a cloud-like dreaminess to it.
I like how the colour of the leaf stands out against the netural blues and greys of this image. And the low, close to the leaf angle really gives the focus to the bottom left.
Great use of negative space, and the slight tilt to the frame adds to the sense of vertigo.
