Another superb composition Jeanette. You know we often say that old furnitures keep the memories of what they "lived", and your composition is the image of this sentence, I find.
You added a lot of sensuality and sweetness in this image, by the choice of the pose. It's a real pleasure to look at.

another fav from that beloved series... and that goes straight to my heart!!! incredible piece of art that gives me mixed emotions... firstly, i can?t help but let my eyes wonder on the smooth lines of the texture that mix so briliantly with the fabric covering the low part of her body... that wood-fabric curve is trully excellent and makes a very strong junxion point (i hope it makes sense what i want to say)along with the line cutting through her back... though the face is not apparent, the body posing transmits strong emotions as shown half transparent through the wood... like a regretful soul staying behind... haunting beloved objects... trying to make her pain heard... cut between two worlds (like her back)... sadly wondering where she belongs while following her lonely path... very moody and eerie image to my eyes... a haunting beauty!!!! excellent dear Jeanette... simply excellent!!! congrats once again... hugs... emy :)

I'm sorry to say, that this image is not as strong as it could be to my eyes. I find that the wood grain and the figure are about the same in visual strength. They steal the potential power that each has and diminishes the over all effect. As I look at your photo I believe that it is the series of knots in the wood on the right that grabs my eye away from your figure. Don't get me wrong I love this series and I wouldn't create a critique lightly. Your work is excellent and I always love to see what you are up to next.

thanks for your responce, it is such a sensitive thing, and i never know when to speak out always.
