Fadel J   {K:13584} 1/24/2005
Great catch Rebecca, this doesn't look like a kid :) but I agree this is unethical!

Dorothy Di Liddo   {K:13796} 1/24/2005
In Charlottesville we had a lady wrapped up in a green sheet wearing a crown. I took her photo too, but have not posted it yet. And YES, it was way too cold today to have anyone outside working for advertisement purposes. Nice street capture Becc. Dottie

Neal Nye   {K:15827} 1/24/2005
It's a very effective photo though. The whole thing has a feeling of sleaze to it, from the crumbling wall to the stupid costume to the cloudy, dreary weather. A bad practice but good photojournalism.

Paul Lara   {K:78113} 1/24/2005
So, is this a local establishment, or a national chain?

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 1/24/2005

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 1/24/2005
This is so classic, so very "street." It's a little tragic to me, because I don't know too many who would wear something so outrageous in public for little money and out in the cold like that. Street photography tells a story; not always pleasant, but often powerful. Good work, Rebecca. Cheers,

Mark

Fabrice Gourbilleau   {K:53288} 1/24/2005
Nice street scene you've captured here Rebecca. I like it!!
The colors of his clothes contrasts with the ones of the rest of the image which correspond to a cold day..
Well done
Fabrice

Pretty sad alright - some people will exploit anything and anyone, and probably think of themselves as 'patriotic' doing it!
I like the 'off kilter' feeling of this - kind of appropriate to the image!

Richard Koth   {K:2505} 1/29/2005
I agree with Neal Nye. Gives me a sleazy feeling. Does this actually draw in buisness? I would NOT go there! Good picture though.

Marcio Janousek   {K:18856} 1/29/2005
