hello James.. nice idea, like a part of a movie.. also a good practice..meanwhile, I suggest to upload the departure first and then boarding and finally arrival of train since the first uploaded will be last viewed for Latin Alphabeth readers. I exclude Arabic Alphabet because it is read from right to left. cheers and best wishes.

Nice series. Very creative.
May be a slightly faster shutter speed for the arrival and departure shots would allow for a bit more structure and features in the train. Also some people in the arrival and departure would add some more interest.

alison.... as far as i can tell, the shanghai subway is probably the cleanest place in china. this isn't representative of airports, train and bus stations however. not sure why that is but many cities around the world seem to take great pride in subways being clean and forgetting about the rest.
the people are all behind me. i'm standing where the train enters the station and the end of the train, when stopped, would be right beside me. i was hoping to try similar photos in the new bangkok subway later this week, but now its closed due to two trains colliding.
