I really like your small subway series, you captured the mood very well. Unfortunately, I also don't know what to do about the overexposure at the top, maybe some photoshop editing? Just keep on experimenting.

Greetings,

Paul

Great timing if you caught a still of the window and it isn't a poster. :)

hi ian. that is indeed a glowing poster and not a train window. this was my second attempt (first serious) at shooting photos of moving trains and i see some potential for nice shots in this environment. in fact, i'll be in bangkok in three days and as they have a new subway there i hope to do something similar there. i can improve on these ones.

thanks for your comments and i will now peruse your portfolio.

Great subaway series!!

Strong effects and lines!

Hi James,

i like the idea of the underground series. Unfortunatly all three pics seem to be a bit overexposed in some areas.
Definitly Shanghai has clean subways.

Regards,

Heiko

hi heiko, you're right the photos are all a bit overexposed in the white areas where the subway directions are laid out. however these were my first subway shots and i learned that i should use the manual setting on my camera in places like this. or bracket the photos.

thanks for the comment ~ james
