Powerful image, - and expresses the edge of depression extremely well. The 'fresh vision' still has 'black spots' on it! Hope this is a very perceptive shot, rather than somewhere you know
Margaret

Nice shot Dot. The one with leaves sharp on the foreground, the one without is faded from memory, only a blurry ghost image remains.

I think I need a double scotch now.

Rebecca Raybon   {K:26655} 1/25/2005
Beautiful image and sentiment. Very well done, Dottie.

Unfortunately, I have fought that demon a time or two in my life Margaret. The Winter is not a good time for me in general, the grayness of the days, lack of sunshine etc... but I rally through that. Hey I'm pretty tough when all is said & done! :) Dottie

George Black   {K:101993} 1/25/2005
Elegant composition; isolating the subject from the background makes the statement beautifully.

(BTW, I?ve posted over a dozen new images in the last two week. I invite you take a look . . . )

Gosh George, I've been commenting, have you gotten the emails? I thought I was up to date, if not I'll take an extra close look. I love your stuff. :) Dottie

Great splashes of colour against the background, Dottie! Well done!
Dave.

A thought-provoking combination of words and image, Dottie.
Kind regards, Chris

Great color and vision. Winter is really good for photographers but it's difficult to be inspired sometimes.

Alison Webb   {K:2538} 1/26/2005
Beautiful image Dottie.
Alison.

Very nice, evokes thought. Your words..'depression loses it's power when fresh vision pierces the darkness'......EXACTLY conveyed in this image.

Good job, it comes through.
Lori :)
