ive seen a lot pictures like this.. but I really like this one! it has an antique feeling to it. The tones are nice and I like the slow speed of it

Calin Hanchevici   {K:1459} 1/26/2005
nice tones, good exposure. I am a little bit annoyed by the right part of the photograph, maybe including more of the stair? or going for a square composition?

regards, calin

Alastair Bell   {K:29571} 1/26/2005
Superb shot Cessy! I like the slow shutter speed and the way it has caused the people on the stairs to blur slightly... for me this is what makes this image stand out... Well done!

Khaled Mursi Hammoud   {K:53382} 1/26/2005
Nice capture.
I like the spiral configuration of the stairs and the tones of the image.
The slow shutter speed gave a nice effect for the moving people.
Good work Cessy,
Khaled.

Hans MADARIAGA   {K:4341} 1/26/2005

dinamica y vertiginosa, pareciera absorber a la gente.

Roberto Carli   {K:13689} 1/26/2005
Perhaps u need a bigger wideangle, but we know,it's digital limit, for the moment..............I think ur work is great, for tones and composition as well!!!!!!!
Ciao.

cessy karina   {K:14205} 1/26/2005
oh yes so true, Roberto. how I wish to have a wider angle lens :(( ....

cessy karina   {K:14205} 1/26/2005
thanks Calin, the fact is the stairs not so high, I was just a few step down the stairs, so I think there is a little bit more stairs before square. I could have had better angle if I had wider angle lens, I think. hmmm .... I should start to save for one :)

David Hofmann   {K:23763} 1/26/2005
there are quite a few of those kind of photos up here. I like this one because it has those people running along the curves wich creates almost a motion in the whole image. The choice to make it B&W and with sepia toning works really goo here. Great work!

Gokce Celestial   {K:76} 1/27/2005
excellent. i'll give 8 out of 7.

Nick Hengeveld   {K:17} 1/27/2005
I like the motion happening in both the spiral shape and the people

Wonderfully composed as an off-center spiral. I love the blurred people and the toning is perfect. Great job.

John H.   {K:2158} 1/27/2005
Great shot, love the tones. Really like the blur from the movement of the people. I wonder why the overexposed at the very bottom? Excellent work, well done!

Eh bien dit .. image très particulière !!
J'ai déjà vu des images de cet escalier .. mais la tienne est spéciale par sa tonalité et sa composition .. les gens sont aussi bien "distribués" soit disant .. ;-)

good perspective

Giulio Rotelli   {K:28429} 4/22/2005
Prospettiva letteralmente ipnotica, resa ancor di più particolare dal movimento della gente.
Bello scatto e buona idea.
La scelta del colore monocromatico è la ciliegina sulla torta.

rakhmat hidayat   {K:190} 3/2/2006
nice composition
