Rather than any deep and meaningful comments...I just like this shot for some reason....I think the folds do it for me...well done Jeanette.

And of course many thanks for your comments on Chairs. By the way what does "Vasen" mean?

Barbara Mayer   {K:49} 1/27/2005
a bit confusing at first sight, but all the important details come out when you look at it long enough. and that's what makes a picture good - when it keeps one looking longer than just a second.

Orazio Minnella   {K:46638} 1/27/2005
Anotehr great work.Excellent elaboration and tones.

emily savva   {K:21113} 1/27/2005
another fantastic image to continue this amazing series... usually, i prefer to comment on series after they are completed so as to have an overall view and fully appreciate their concept... but with this one, every image is a whole story on its own... still the "essence" of all of them is forming a harmonious line full of strong emotions and hidden images within images creating something new... like in this one... a strong expression contradicts the softness of the fabric (saten???)... the sun rays though one expects to gently warm the face, they cut through it like blades resembling the painfull thoughts passing through the mind... i wouldn?t have though a most appropriate image for Despair, Regret and Inner Conflict... very strong and moving image that hits directly to the emotions... a fav again (what a surprise!!!! ) and my utmost congrats for your work dear Jeanette... thanks so much for sharing... hugs... emy :)

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 1/27/2005

This is my new favorite of the images you're built around this theme. The human presense in this is in perfect harmony with the image.... and emeges slowly to the eye as if stepping out of a shadow. Just marvelous, Jeanette!!

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59796} 1/31/2005
Thanks John!!!!!!!!!!!!!

jennifer armstrong   {K:6688} 2/1/2005
very intriguing, jeanette. I had to study this piece for awhile before i found the images there. And what's so interesting is that it held my attention all during that time - the want to discover what you found & created held me here as did the strength of the lines & shapes that make it up. What's so amazing to me is that, in spite of the busyness of this piece - the contrast, movement, dynamic shapes & folds - my attention keeps getting pulled back to his eye as a place to rest, to settle. That is not easy to do, & to do so subtley. Wonderfully created & composed.

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59796} 2/1/2005
Thanks Jennifer, i?m glad for your comment!
