I like it very much. It has a very interesting look to it. I thought it might be an effect you tried to go for in PS or some other way.
I wouldn't return it to the lab :)

Interesting black and white picture that conveys a profound feeling of sadness (despite the idea of the two people being 'partners'). You don't seem to have used much colour of late - and, for this one at least, I can see why.

forse l'inquadratura così larga fa perdere un po l'attenzione dal soggetto principale e i toni danno poca brillantezza ai toni scuri quindi si vedono pochi dettagli delle facce

Great eye, your subject is well reprsented. I think you are right, the tones are a bit too greyish, but that is secondary and easily overlook due to the great compostion. -- Kind Regards, Rafael
