paolo marin   {K:4652} 1/28/2005
for me this variant (color) is better than bw... it's more 3dimensional in reflections

Elsje Fiederelsje   {K:6320} 1/28/2005
GREAT shot!!! I think in color it's the most beautiful!!! Well done!!!

Margaret Sturgess   {K:49403} 1/28/2005
Excellent, dark and moody but with that glorious glow. The shapes and glints of colours leading across the image is just great

A most wonderful picture, and thanks for your comments on "taking advantage".

I just wonder if you could have got a slightly better (if that's possible on an image like this) photo by moving the camera view slightly left so the sun was in the upper right third position.

Neil

Chris Hunter   {K:25631} 1/30/2005
Hi Neil thanks for the suggestion - I think you're right. That would also help eliminate the hot white spot I have in the uppper left where there was blue sky and no clouds. Thanks

Chris

Barry Wakelin   {K:7838} 1/31/2005
Really excellent image, Chris. Fantastic sky and reflections on the rocks and the misty sea effect is so atmospheric.

David Nepinsky   {K:238} 2/10/2005
That's a great shot. I love the colors in the sunset.

James Hager   {K:6285} 4/17/2005
Nice. Love the triangular form of the rocks. I like this image more than the B&W because I think the color really makes the image work. In the B&W, I don't get a sense that it's water.
