Great reflection of the boat in the foreground - did you take a close-up of that? Hmmm ... why not? :-))

Great story and does it ever remind me of similar things that happened as a boy ;-) We have to learn the hard way.
Nice harbor shot, lots of color and very nice composition.

That was one lesson that you did not forget. Now days they would have had your dad in jail for child abuse. That was the best way. It didn't hurt you and was well remembered. A great story. This is quite a bustling community. Great colors. Don.

Well, Chris, your title was enough to reel me in - not that I need to be persuaded to look at your shots. This is such a colorful image and story made me chuckle. In this instance, "spare the ROD and spoil the child" takes on a new meaning. Glad to read your Dad's comments. -- Debby
