This one is not the norm - usually the shot woold more strait on or at a slight angle - this is unusal but very well done - I just picked up a d-70 over the weekend and a, looking forward to getting out tyhis weekend to shoot if the weather holds out - any tips for black and white with the d70.. K

Thanks for the comment Kevin. As for the D70, my biggest tip is to shoot in RAW if at all possible. This allows for maximum control of shadows, contrast and saturation, all very important when converting to b/w. Plus, you always have that undamaged 'negative' file to come back to. Later.
