About This is another version of an earlier photo, cropped as suggested by Jennifer Armstrong (many thanks!). Makes a big difference, i think... Also chopping out the partially captured frame on the left is an improvement.

Your thoughts?

wonderful shot, I like the dark subject againg the lighter backround, very eye catching....
well done....

A fine portrait . . . The cropping is excellent. Brightening the face might help the overall effect, but it is a charming shot as it is.

Yes, this is definitely improved in the details of the crop. It's a dramatic and effective portrait.

Best wishes, Jonathan

hi Omar - yes, i do think this version works better, helps to keep our attention on her, with the background there to support the feeling of the piece & create the environment but without distracting our attention. I like the crop on the left as well - beautifully done. It's a stunning piece.

Excellently composed and toned.
