About Since my early thirties I had been retired from love. I had been living like a child, hour to hour. Drifting was not hard. There were people to meet for coffee, and movies and concerts to go to. And now - it seemed all at a sudden - salesgirls called me "ma'am". In a sense, I did not mind the way I was aging. I was not a prim careerist living in a town house full of ancient maps. I was not a criminal or an alcoholic, either. But still I'd expected by this time of my life to have developed a more general sense of pride in my larger self. I'd thought I'd been able to say just exactly what I was doing in this world.

love the movement, love the text, love the dizzy mood of this photo..for me, it's like a movie..great...

Jeanette Hägglund   {K:59855} 2/5/2005
For me the image fit so perfect for your about - and your about fit so perfect to the shot. Time, movement, changes, aging, reflections, unsharpness/sharpness....and so on! Yes, as Murat says, it could be a movie - a short sequence of blurry movements a rainy night...and your about is the voice we hear...
Excellent!

Words and vision and images and memory and words and time and people and love and time and time and end.
I had been retired from my sense of time. And the story starts again. My favourite movie is "Reconstruction". [Expired thoughts, shot at 3.18pm, feb6, 2005] You are beautiful.Take care

This is not only an intoxicating photo....the "about" is equally riveting. Your work is always thought provoking...I appreciate that. ..Brad

Ciao Aira,

That's the kinda shot which looks so easy, but it's actually damn hard to do that. I knew from the first second that you and the LOMO will become a great team and I was right. Yes, smart ass I know. HAHA.
You're doing all right?
Great shot, Aira. Love it!!!

Their eyes brightened when they heard the news that Aira was out and about at night again with the Lomo. "D'you think it's true?", Murat asked Jeanette, who pursed her lips in thought. Aris interjected: "Of course it's true. She's been seen. Bradley told me he saw her stepping out of a cab in Piccadilly not two nights ago. She had the Lomo with her. She stood watching the whirling traffic for quite some time and then walked off quickly into the night. He said she had never looked better or more purposeful."

blurred concerns of an uncertain mind and eye... moving in the silent whisper of questions while following the night... an unsettling visual poem i adore!!!! emy

Ciao Aira,
