About This geological formation is located near Phuket Island where there was considerable tsunami damage. If you've ever watched "The Man With the Golden Gun" then you've seen this place (it appears near the end of the film). Quite nice.

clear image of a quite interesting place; I would avoid centering and use a center-off position

wonderful..

What a spot...the natural beauty of these areas is incredible. I have seen places similiar to this, but the terraforming with these rocks, with their larger tops then bottoms, seems so surreal.

Cheers,
Chris

Hi Alison, I was at this place yesterday. Today, I visited Ko Phi Phi Ley and Ko Phi Phi Don, islands that were more damaged by the tsunami but which are more beautiful, in fact, than James Bond Island. I'll upload some of those photos later.

Looks like another planet
You would never think a rock that shape could stand like that

Jon O'Brien   {K:11268} 4/30/2005
Stunning scenery. I think this is the better of the two shots of this spot, because of the interesting background.

cheers,

Jon
