Hi Béa, I love it !
Talks to me... as he was hanging the world on his shoulders ... Poor man, it's a lot of repsonsability !
Great !

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 2/9/2005
thanks Joannes !
and..more pictures from you please !!

Siddharth Siva   {K:3327} 2/9/2005
nice one! as always you are great with the holga.
my holga screwed up my last roll of film. i got rid of the 6x4.5 cropping device so i could shoot square images...all the frames had overlapped! and unfortunately no real happy accidents by way of interesting overlapped effects :-(
back to the holga drawing board!

Nice flare effects and how that globe just makes it all happen. Bea, I noticed that with Type 85, the speed "appears" to be less than 100 ASA. I think it's approximately 75 ASA. I tore out the aperture in my Holga, and it made a big difference in exposure (much better) with type 85. I did, however, put the same aperture onto the sunny/cloudy selector, so that I could go back to the original camera specs for exposure. Did you, btw, do any modifications to your Holga other than the Polaroid back?

L O   {K:-530} 2/12/2005
the world is on camera bea!

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 2/12/2005
hi Mark... no..didn't make any other modifications at all. I am having problems with the type 87 film (3200 about ). can't seem to find the best light or nonlight and wasted too much film. too expensive. also the 89 color..need to develop it much much longer than the 85.
have a great day...keep posting your stuff !

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 2/12/2005
Bea, I was seriously considering some type 87, but the 3200 ASA speed is a bit much. B&Hphotovideo has 'em for about $7.95 a pack. I'll have to put a 2x or 3x NDfilter on the Holga for the type87, but first I have to find a stepring that I can work into the lens housing. I heard that if you find the right size step ring, it'll cut a thread into the plastic, and then you screw the filter onto it. I did order some type 89, and can't wait for that to arrive (and some sunny days would help). Yes, I'll keep posting. I have a ton more of the Holga shots, but am unsure if they're up to snuff for UF. Talk to you later; have a great weekend.

Mark

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 2/15/2005
snuff enough for UF ?? of course they are..post them when you got em !

Mark Beltran   {K:32612} 2/16/2005
Awww Bea, now that's a great boost for my confidence. For anybody actually. Good friends do that, I've found.

Raf D   {K:10453} 2/16/2005

Does this capture age oneself... I was told earlier today... that U No Who... is an old man... but here I some how recall that this was created for the World's Fair in NY...

well seen Ms Holga & LensBaby!

Bea Friedli   {K:9816} 5/5/2005
