It's gorgeous! I love the brilliance of it..shooting light and so dramatic in color. It definitely grabs my attention...irresistably. Antonia

fab work da... was there any ps involved..nevertheless... excellent image both in terms of color and ze total attitude/expression...

interesting work with mixed lighting. I wish the image were not quite so contrasty and the color bleed is apparant at the present level of saturation. (gives it a cheap look fit for a rag) which is fine if that's what ur going for. Further more the white balance is off (notice the blue hands) I would have used slow sync to illuminate Rohan (so alteast he can be white balanced) the rest would still look the same.

great shots, Siddharth - both of these dj pieces are really strong, compelling images. I think this one works better for me because it shows off his 'attitude' more - with the sunglasses & the posture, & the wonderful blown-out lighting is a little less frenetic than in the other piece while still being so vibrant. Cool work - & congratulations on an assignment well shot!

Thats the point. This image was never meant to be perfect to begin with. I have used slow sync..there is an off camera flash gun illuminating him..it looked too clean when I looked at it on my monitor, so I changed the white balance in my RAW converter and screwed around with it along with excessive colour saturation and contrast to make it a little crazier. There is no need for him to be white balanced..have you seen anything in a night club that is 'white balanced'?? So in the interest of being nightclubby and crazy and for cheap rag effects..the inaccuracy of colours and contrast.

I dunno man!! didn't need the D1X to make this one.. u should have borrowed my 0.3 megapixel phone camera. (joke don't get mad).. I did spend some time going through ur images.. babes and balls.. were is the stuff ur proud of??

Siddharth Siva   {K:3327} 2/15/2005
yo...unfortunately (or fortunately) i am happy with most of this work..which is not to say that there is no scope for learning or improvement..that never ends.
