Love this, fantastic contrast from the grey invert to the red poppies. Very creative and artistic use of PS and looks a little tricy to pull off.. -mm

It just took a little imagination. The work in fact was quite easy. It only took me less than 2 hours to convert the image. Some other can take me up 8 hours (sometimes all night)...Coffee, or green are great in the middle of the night.:)

Very cool. What'd you do? Select all the photo except for the poppies and invert it in black and white? Very cool effect, I like it a lot, whatever you may have done

In PS, I went under image, adjust, selective color. I chose the white part which was most prominent and distracting in the original and darkened it until it became black. I desaturated individual colors until the red stood out undisturbed by other colors. But you will notived some slight saturation in the image that may not be obvious at first glance. I then adjusted the image to finess the final version. It is hard to specifically tell you what I did, because I usually work on a sublimal level and never record the steps I take. Each image speak to me and I just respond. Hope that answers your question. Thanks for asking, and feel free to do so anytime.

I had some issue with the original slide. But I liked the image enough to work it out as a surreal image. Glad you like it. Not to be afraid of red flowers in the dark....o:)
