Wow, Andre, you have a great portfolio! I love many of your pictures, they have interesting subjects and are very engaging. This one is (aside from the ominous threat) a very poetic scene. As much as I don't like winter, some of the most poetic images are winter images, less color, more mood. Very beautiful!

Sometimes some of our best work is lying there on page 4 or 5 . It's a shame that we don't have the ability to alter our personal front page to bring our personal favourites to the opening page of our portfolios. I suppose I could create a portfolio called personal favorites.

Hi Dave,
I took this shot about a year ago now, and it is still there. It would be a shame if they did bring in an airport or a dump site. I was going to do this one in B&W like your shot at one time, but the frost looked so good up against the dark evergreen, I decided to leave it.
