About Any one who has a Tom Ang book may recognice this as one of his examples. It's in Leeds, and is a very plush office block called The Bourse.

Apparently it means...

"A stock exchange, especially one in a continental European city"

So there you go.

Been walking around town getting stock images like these for a few days - got to get the piggy bank full!

Fabulous reflections Ade, love the composition also. I'm off to Otley tomorrow with the family but free in the evening or Saturday if you want to take a trip somewhere ?

Best wishes,
Steve

Ade, you come up with the most amazing images my friend. This is stupendous!! the uniformity of the different objects taking the eye all over the image is magic. Really cool shot.

Morning Steve,

This a little gem in Leed's crown, but we much have walked past it when you were in town.]

Here's another shot from closer up, I put it on ephotozine and it got a few comments - maybe a bit abstract, and abstract isn't that popular on there.

I'm on yet another leaving do tomrrow, then out for pool tomorrow at about 5 in Leeds, so headache permitting we could do something mid dayish. But these leaving dos have been very hectic....

the good news is that we're handing over our work on Wednesday next week so hopefully will be on gardening leave soon after - loads of time for play then!

Cheers

Ade

Cheers Den.

it's a wierd little street covered with mirrors and you'd easily walk past it if you didn't know it was there.

I've tried lots of shots in the past, but the light was about right last night.

Going to take my friend Steve Bowden down tehre to see what he can come up with I think.

There's another shot of it here

Cheers

Ade

Hi Ade,
thanks for your reply. Got the pic you mentioned but it was attached to your reply to Steve. Did you mean that or is Steve about to miss out on another tremendous shot?

Ooops, sorry mate. Hit reply on my browser and Margaret was logged in so the reply came thru in her name. Should overcome this prob soon as we're having a router installed which means we can both be on UF at same time and leave our own machines logged in and not change names.

ha ha - I was wondering who I'd replied to for a minute!!

I did put it up with Steve's comment, but thought I'd mention the other shot to you al the same.

I know what you mean about dual peronalities, I use www.ephotozine.co.uk as well as UF and have ade_mcfade and cannon_fodder as user names... Naughty, but yo get to post 2 photos instead of one.

but I often leave comments from one with the name of the other and vice versa.... eek.

I'm off on the shandies after work so no proper post, but here's another stock shot from yesterday. It;s just off the City Square in Leeds - polarised sky and that's about it.

Have a top weekend

Cheers

ADe
