Hi Omar,
wow, this one is really special. I admire the widescreen look, works well with the gray scales here. it seemd you pushed the button in the very right moment to capture the rising sun. "the land of the rising sun" becomes a complete new idea ;-)
all in all, a very good landscape shot.

Thanks for your thoughtful words. I didn't think to name the image 'Land of the Rising Sun' but its a good idea!
This was taken on my first morning in Japan so my super jet-lag was advantageous for capturing this instant!

Thanks James for your appreciative comment. I notice that this one is popular, but it is not in my opinion, my 'best'. I think it has a 'classic' feel to it and therefore it seems to fit with what people look for, but personally, I like to go for more unusual visions of things. But I am of course quite proud of this one nonetheless. Itr was worth getting up at 5am!
