About Cheeeeese!

This little pal lives on Petrópolis, about an hour from Rio de Janeiro by car, at the Imperial Museum. Quite snob, isn't it?
Here, last century, is where the brazilian Imperial Family decided to install its summer houses. This cozy little city is on a mountain range that's behind Rio de Janeiro so the temperatures are more convenient on summer months.

It took me some time to capture my new little friend as he was at first a bit ashamed. But after runing over many trees I believe we started to create some kind of relation and he gently posed for this portrait. Unfortunately I didn't quite understand what was his answer to the title question.

Shot at 5pm on Provia 400, handheld with my F2AS, 85/1.4D at 60/2.8. Here is a very good sample of this lens exceptional bokeh. Tones blend smoothly one into another, there's no evidence of the number of diaphragm blades on the round highlights.

The squirrel was about 4 to 5 meters distant. The focused area seems to be on a different layer than the defocused background. Sharpness on focused is as impressive as its defocus capability. A lens that deserves its reputation.
