About After a heavy shower, the thundercloud began moving away, and I got this dramatic view of the Pyramid building in Northeast part of town.

Bank guard came and chased me off, but I was smilin' because I had already SNAGGED it. ;)

WHOA awesome... Sweet wide angle architecture capture!! You should (possibly in the future when the guard is asleep) try and do a double shot of this and stitch them together so you get this picture as the bottom and then a looking up vertical picture all the way up the top and into the sky. This is excellent so far, everything was captured very well. Keep up the great work!

Great lines Paul. You have to learn to be more sneaky so he never knew you were there. My photo-journalism instructor told us he makes friends with everyone in town and then just pops them off.

Hi Paul,

I agree with Alex, this one is very good, but I would try another right into the sky!
Ok, You have to "meet and make some friendship" with that guard... :)
Do that, and then maybe you can do a right centered photo. ;-)

Cheers

I don't know Paul - perhaps he knew you were casing the joint! Security guards have good instinct sometimes... :) Nice composition, I'm jealous of the time you get to spend outside. Amy

Erik Neldner   {K:10896} 2/11/2005
There's a lot of drama in choosing this angle for shooting architecture. Nice work!

Dave Stacey   {K:138303} 2/11/2005

Hey Paul, this is one fantastic shot ! I love the geometric balance of all the lines and how they really pull your eye in. This is the kind of shot that will stand the test of time 20 - 30 years from now - no matter how advanced PS gets. A classic shot. Mark

Mark Mellen   {K:1970} 2/18/2005

Thank you. I had to act fast on this one, because the security guard came once already to chase me off! ;)
