Whether buying or selling....I have come to find an odd, and vibrant kind of life in surroundings like this. I am thankful for having the ability to do so.....it's a new thing :-)
This is a wild shot, thank you Thilo!

my guess is that it is a trendy urban street style boutique...great street shot full of "Day in the life of NYC"...i like off-the-beaten-path type places to explore and sometimes they can be more interesting than the upscale boutiques...very well composed and love the mixture of greys/colors...regards,gayle

Also lot of trash around, outside as well and dirty too. Very moody.

Well spotted reality! Everything isn?t beautiful around us :(

Magnus Beierlein   {K:1616} 2/15/2005
It?s right there.....where the paint is cracking and were middle class kids go slumming. It?s the beauty of something run down and where just around the corner limos are lined up cuz some trendy restaurant just opened. It?s New York City, the only city in the world where trash can become cash and were trash actually can be viewed as colorful pieces of art. It?s art where no art is to be found among all the pretentious bastards trying to understand......

Oh well...got carried away agaain. Love the image and love your shots from the only city that seems to matter.

What a great and interesting capture, Thilo! And really perfectly composed! You're an artist who can make a great photo of... trash!

Fabulous capture Thilo - it looks a frightening place yet the shop looks very intriguing !!

Who knows, you may find a great deal on Nikon D2X's inside ;-)

the irony of that sign "trash" surrounded by garbage and clutter....too perfect. Even though her surroundings are very busy, she seems very isolated. Interesting capture ;)
