Wow...Joern, your portfolio is full of various splendid shots, i found you a real talented photographer in human feelings. very nice, you have reach to the " simplicity ". and simplicity is a high level structure that just few photographers reach to it. indeed it comes after passing skills about the form & composition...the square composition is now helpful to enhance it's intimate feel. also the frame is craetive. very good expose and good balancing the contrast.

Excellent photograph. I am sure it will be treasured for a long time. One of the best things about black and white is how texture comes to the forefront -- the old wall and heavy scarf "match" and echo each other. Minimal depth of field worked beautifully.
