2 months ago I had a camera stuck down my throat to look in my stomach for... well... let's not go there. Thankfully nothing too serious was found.
I was out walking on Saturday, being (for me) quite introspective and thinking about things past, present and future when I passed this graveyard, & happened to notice my reflection in a headstone.
I suddenly snapped out of my reverie & started laughing out loud at the absurdity of life. The couple who were walking past at the time looked quite shocked!!
I hope you don't find this image macabre - I think it is quite the opposite!!

This is a very nice well composed shot, It does have a dark mysteriously scarry look to it at first, but once I see your reflection in the headstone the shot becomes wonderful, actually made me laugh. I guess as long as your name is not on top of the reflection your ok. I like the nice tones and detail throughout the shot, wonderful......

To tell you the truth Steve, as I looked at this photo, I had the creepiest feeling come over me. Reminded of a scary movie, that feeling like something was lurking. It took a few moments before I even noticed that the "ghostly figure" on the tombstone was you! Very cool picture!! I like it!
P.S. Guess what I bought today...
The Canon 100-400 L series lense!! Yay for me!
I also bought a "real" marco lense.(with all the money I saved by listening to you) :)

Angela,
An excellent choice I think! Remember to set the focus distance on the side of the lens, it makes a huge difference to the speed of autofocus. One thing to beware of though, if you set it to 6.5m and your subject is 6.4 metres away, it will appear to lock on, but be a little out of focus.
I look forwards to your results with it. Just added you as a friend, sorry, I thought I had done that already...
