Very nice black and white scene. The sheep look like they are in a spotlight. Great threatening clouds. Don.

Superb, and personal. I like the way you compose your landscapes with the low horizons and rolling skies.

Titia Geertman   {K:5579} 2/19/2005
That's how the area I live in looks like: low horizons and lots of sky. I don't have to do anything special to get that effect, Nature made it that way.
Skies are just beautiful and so full of changing color and form. I see the storms coming in from far away, I see rain clouds and sunshine at the same time. It can be dry and sunny at my place and it can rain tons in the next village the same time. That's why I do love the forest, but wouldn't want to live in them forever. My sister does and she never sees the sun disappear at the 'edge of the earth'. That's why I'm in love with this place.
If you look up the photo's of that little church I took so many times, that's what I see when I look out my front window.

I was born and raised on a farm so I love these rural scenes. Is that your farm in the background? What about the cattle, are they yours? What a beautiful tranquil looking home. Del.
