Excellent image Kareem.
I like your composition of centralizing the inlet of the tunnel with this nice lighting of the bricks on the ground and captring a man walking just through it.
Good work my friend,
Khaled.

Thanks friend.

Very good and authentic photo. I really like this "natural" framing and one person who is walking gives some life and feeling of depth into image. Good job Kareem!

Beautiful photo and a great lead in. Although it is dark you have maintained a bit of the beautiful shine of the marble on the road. The man entering the tunnel adds nice detail and perspective to the photo. Alison

This image must have full +++7,it has the most attractive elements done with professional way, the tunnel is perfectly dark to give the subject moving towards, a sense of live, the darkness not effected the path or it was just perfect to show the paving, and that a good sign for the moving person to continue his way through. I like it very much it is the image with a story telling .Great job.Saeed

Thats a good shot, Kareem. You can really feel the atmosphere, history and also the isolation of today. Its quite poetic..

Omar

You find always fine and interesting places, I like this deep perspective with old buildings in background, the little human figure adds a nice touch to the image, good BW tones and contrast. Thankx for your kind comments. Bye, Max

Very well composed B&W photo, Kareem. I looked for your comment under my "Glass 4" but it was not there. Tel Aviv may have been called Tal arebi, but it was a dune and nothing else and was bought with money from the Arab sheich who owned it. In Israel almost everybody is in the army at one time or another, otherwise the state would not exist. The fact that I became chief psychiatrist in the army was mere chance and I did not like the job. I preferred clinical work.
As to the Jews ruling the world this way or that, I won't go deeper into that, otherwise we can't continue to be friends. How can a people of 13 million rule the world? Was there not a time at which Muslims ruled the world?
I am fine. I just celebrated my 75th birthday and I am glad that you read my book off paper. I don't want you to spoil your eyes.
Your friend for the time being,
Rafi

Carla Ardian   {K:618} 2/23/2005
VERY nice image. I love the black and white contrast and how the minimum view of the other end of the tunnel (or whatsoever). Focused and nice. :)
