I used to take the South Shore from Gary, Indiana with my uncle into Chicago to see the Cubs play. 30 years later I moved to central Illinois (Starved Rock area) and for years lived in a house that had the old track-bed from the Princeton to LaSalle Interurban. I was at Union a few years back and they had one of the old Interurban cars running. Wow, thanks for those memories!
