The things I like most about this excellent macro are the colours (you have exposed them very well, they appear so rich and vibrant) and also the immense detail, you can see the veins in the petals!!

I just found this on the front page. Congratulations for the flappy mouth award Petal. LOL :) That's waht's great about making the front page. We get to see images that are otherwise lost deep in the archives.
This is beautiful with the lovely deep purple tones. (why am I now humming Deep Purple songs from the 70's? hmmm) :)
The veins in the petals are gorgeous and the details are wonderfu. A beautiful capture.
