this is really a nice moment, but the thumb pushing the ear spoil a little for me. The pose looks uncomfortable for the baby. I really don't want to sound so negative, it just doesn't feel relaxed and tender to me.

David, I was also a bit bummed about the scrunching of the ear on this one. I was hoping it wouldn't distract too much from the rest of the photo.
This was more of a candid moment, actually. It wasn't posed at all. I was doing something to the camera and as I finished I looked up and caught mommy doing this  ) So I was lucky to get it at all!

I like what you've done with the retouch. My friends all seem to be having babies and want pictures of them. I decided to do some studying (babies aren't my thing!) and found yours, my favorite by far.
