an exceptional abstract composition once again with a most confronting combination of colors and contrasts... i don?t know why but your skies always reminds me of the sea (i don?t know if that makes any sense  )... like a building-ship and the lamp is the median to attract the attention those underneath it... maybe a waste of energy but certainly fitted perfectly in the composition!!!! wonderful vision for details you have my dear Jeanette... and that?s no exemption!!!! hugs... emy :)

No not so much - i substracted some yellow! Just that!!!! It?s a little underexposed ( - 0.7) to receive this saturated colours.

Well, Jeanette, it's appropriate that green is one of your favorite colors, because you make people green with envy! :) Amazing complementary colors that give a wonderful and eye-catching contrast - I also like the contrast between the ornate building and the stark functionality of the lamp!
Wasteful, yes, but we in the US are the undisputed leaders when it comes to being wasteful! :)

Hi Jeanette,
these colours are wonderful. But in my point of view, the plus in this shot is the cut, another little bit of the building and wouldn't have been the same effect.

I am struck by your unconventional compositions over and over. they work so very well and help me to see out of the "box". this one is kind of funny, I suppose the "powers that be", just want to make sure you get home enlightened no matter what the time of day. How Buddhist of them.
