To me, the special quality of this shot is found in the shadows... The shadows of the lamp and phone add contrast to the wonderfully soft pastels. Also, the contrast in height, between the tall lamp and the man. This shot is not simple.... the individual elements are perhaps, simple objects in our everyday life; but the composition is full of tactical expertise. VERY nice work, Maria! ...Brad
