I think its a three dimensional model of a seal lion's lower intestions? Or a series of Kazoos melted togethet in the desert sun? A scale model of a a Venusian fangle blaster?

Thanks, Chris. I very carefully set the focus so that the entire thingy would be in focus but NOT the building behind it. Got it perfect! You have to calculate with rangefinders because you can't actually SEE what's going to be in focus as you can with an SLR.
