Nicely composed, well done.

Nice image. I really love monochromatic photos like this one.

David:

Thanks - these were all taken one morning in heavy fog on my drive into work. I just pulled off the highway and went a little off the beaten path (easy to do in Kansas) before joining back up with K-10 and heading into work.

So far the favorite seems to be "Familiar Country Road" and the BW counterpart "Canine Country Road".

Be careful you don't go blind shooting into the sun. Even in heavy fog this takes a toll on your eyes. Nice work, the shapes in this piece are an interesting juxtaposition of man and nature.

Taran:

All photographs taken in a 15 minute window in incredibly heavy fog. I added my polarizing sunglasses and could barely make out what I was photographing.

Nature offered you a great opportunity with this backlit heavy fog. I remember one similar situation on a biking tour last year and had about 10 to 15 minutes until the fog cleared. You made an excellent job with very good tones. Just curious: out of the camera or dodging and burning with PS ?

Carsten:

Mostly straight from the CCD. Little bit of levels applied in PS. Your photograph is better.

I really like these 2 fog pictures. They are so natural and wonderfully presented.
Thanks for commenting on my Moon picture.
