version 2 with no chain...

Either way it's a very strong image. Tones are excellent, the grain and mood go together very nicely. Great work as always.

without the chain the framing feels a little odd, so I prefer the original. I like his expression very much. It is a very good moment you got.

With the chain..definately. The grain and hue are great! Why is it, the sadder they look, the more I'm drawn to it? I love this!

I like the chain. It adds to the dark mood of this. Nicely done.

Amanda Keeys   {K:9349} 3/15/2005
Love this. So moody with the grain and those rich, dark tones. I like it with or without the chain, honestly. I hardly noticed it in the first shot until it was pointed out in your comments.

Beautiful Dina! I prefer the chain version.

The grain adds to the the mood and the overall richness of your shot. Wonderful!

Bradley Prue   {K:30312} 3/15/2005
Totally like the chain. It completes the composition, and theres no reason to omit it. This shot shows the depth of this young man's conscience. Remarkable work, Dina..

I am so drawn to this. Wonderfully moody. I definitely prefer the chain - it gives context and his body language seems to make more sense with it.
