Superb seascape. A horizon in the center makes it difficult to decide about the main subject - both sky and sea are attractive and my eyes go up and down... Maybe I would sacifice some sky because I find the water most interesting here

Carsten:
thanks. Yeah - rule of thirds, but when you are out on the beach it's hard to decide, so I just shot it straight. Maybe because I'm a landlocked guy in Kansas the Ocean really jazzes me up.

For a progression of waves for the same beach:

The composition here is super with the wave reaching the left side. By the way, is this a vertical stitch by any chance?

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22109} 3/18/2005
Fadel:

No stitching this time. Just some of the standard PS work to bring in gradients, color correct, balance lightness and contrast.

Michael, I love this type of shots, great mood, how do get this type of white light on the waves? It must be the sunset lighting! Beautiful! I love the angle with the wave in the foreground. My friend Andrzej Pradzynski has recently posted a beautiful wave too: http://www.usefilm.com/image/1034615.html
Excellent!
