Good effort, however the details are much too soft for my tastes. There is a slight glare from the background, that I find a tad distracting.

I like what you are doing with this Evelyn.
Sort of like a print.
I get the tea part, but not the ceremony?

Evelyn Mayes   {K:8132} 3/20/2005
Hi Matt -- the ceremony connection is more a felt thing having to do with poetry in the movement and rhythm I sense in the image. But I guess part of it has to do with all the changes it went through to try and preserve and enhance what I liked as well. Does that make any sense?

Evelyn Mayes   {K:8132} 3/20/2005
Thanks for your input, Laura -- it is quite all right not to like all my little experiments but I am glad you mentioned something specific about what it was that did not suit you. That was kind of you -- when I do it I always feel like a risk being taken and I do not know the person well enough to know how they will take it. You have become a friend!

Hi Ev - I do feel like I am squinting a bit looking at this (of course it would help to put on my glasses!). Love the colors and the dreamy feel. Amy
