Dear Marian.. forive me but sometimes I have to make critiques in negative way just to be honest to myself and to the photographer (especially a friend like you).. I did not like this view much since the view has no specific subject (object) as you also mentioned "windy afternoon" in the header. I would perefer a walking couple or a boat; I mean someting that could attract the attention of viewer.. also light is not satisfactory. take care dear friend.. best wishes..

Nice cold dark image Marian... I feel the need for a jacket just looking at it! I like the way the wind has blurred the palm fronds slightly too - I guess this was quite a slow shutter speed? Well done!
