You were all very close. I guess I wasn't as clever as I thought. It is a martini glass sitting on a bunch of colored lights. I think I'm going to give this macro stuff a rest and go back to outdoor pictures for a while. The flowers are about to bloom here.

The idea was most inventive and it produced some lovely colours. But my concern is that it left nothing for the eye to focus on - maybe a hint of the glass itself would help: from your shot of the setup it looks as though this should have been possible.
