About A plank, stuck on a wier at Birstwith in North Yorks.

Another shot from the shoot Steve Bowden and I had on Wednesday afternoon. The light was a bit wierd at this point, so i opted for the 300mm lens and some closeup detail shots whilst the sunwent down a little

Like this one as there a little trickle over the wood that looks a bit like a beard or something :-)

Ade,

Great movement - and great clarity from the still components in this long exposure.

I love how long exposures on water give a dreamy, fog like quality to the surface,.

Don't think I'd want to fall in there though .. doen't look too pleasant :)

Great pic

Regards
Steve

Looks like the plank has been stuck there for some time, Ade. Nice composition with great feel of motion in the water. Larry

Good shot! I see some ancient fanged predator rising from the primordial oozes of a new-birthed Earth. Or maybe it's just because of the book I'm reading. :-]

Great capture Ade, I didn't have the zooooom for this one, it was just out of reach of my max 140mm.

Lighting was funny although it would have been too bright had we gone today !!

Catch you later,

Best wishes,
Steve

lovely shot, but find the border distracting.i think a shot with this ammount of visual strength doesn't need that emphassis.

Gorgeous exposure Ade! Looks like hanging around with you and Stephen would do wonders for my photographic skills. I'm jealous of the time you get to spend in the company of other photographers. My husband is amused and tolerant, and my family is scattered much too far to have a Wednesday afternoon photo shoot. Comradeship is a very special treat. Amy
