i really enjoy this one gaja, i love the light coming through the leaf, wonderful texture and blur effect on the outside rims of the photo, great capture, what magnifying filter are you using, i use hoya 1 2 and 3x which dont blur to much towards the edges, but with this image i feel the effect makes the image, wonderful capture

Hi Phil,

I have three tiffen filters. 1, 2, and 4. They all seem to blur quite a bit. The way to get maximum magnification with my camera at least, is to zoom in completely (12 times zoom) and move the camera about a foot away from the subject. That way I can magnify a lot, but the blurring is massive and I have to hold the camera at exactly the right distance or it can't focus. Do you have any sample images using your filters?

best,
Gaja

Nice translucency
I use PS to blur my edges.

Gaja,

Wonderful capture, but I agree with Gary by using PS to blur your work. I would shoot as clear as I could with the camera, then you can control the blur to the inth degree with PS? 7 +++++

My Best,

Jr. Martin
