About A well shot tree on the highway near the Crows Nest Pass on the BC/Alberta border. This is my approach. Finally got lucky travelling today with some clouds passing by to help make the picture (blue sky just didn't cut it for me). Converted to b/w and increased contrast. Photoshop.

Cheers!

I hate to add anything negative to such a dramaticly lit and well executed and exposed photograph......
I was wondering what it would look like with the flattened off, or cut off part of the tree in the center of the photo eliminated with Photoshop and then rounded off....... reguardless, it's beautiful.

Randy thank you for the input. Attached is the edited image. Looks good. Glad you pointed that out before I went and printed it!

Cheers!

WOW, that's great! Being new to digital and computers I don't yet have a "Photoshop" type program, what do you use?

Kris Wahlstrom   {K:636} 4/3/2005
I use Adobe Photoshop. Very powerful. Check it out if you have a bit of free time... takes a bit of getting used to. I only have basic knowledge but its enough... and I keep learning!

Thanks,I will check it out. Right now IrfanView does a few basics for me...... and the price is right. :)
My digital camera was given to me, and I use it mostly for documenting work, so I am just learning about this stuff.

Beautiful contrast in this B&W. Very mysterious and omnious.
