About Another train from the meet with Steve Bowden and Den Thompson

Again, not sure what it is, but it was quite a bit smaller than the last posting, so I could get niceand close and let the 15mm lens do it's wierd perspective work on it.

again, obscured the background to keep the focus on the train rather than the blue girders on the cileing!

Lovely tight crop of this loco Ade........very well defined by it's sharpness. Colours are brilliant and of great contrast. I spot some noise in the top left quarter, but this may be reflection from the bioler door and doesn't detract IMO. Really great shot and good composition. Well done.

Great job - doesn't look like it's in a museum. You've really made a nice artistic shot here.

Cheers for the comment Steve

I tried a few things to get rid of the distracting cieling. Believe it or not,k I started with a mothin blurr - to make it lok as though the train was moving - then started to burn the background with a Levels layer.

I just kept burning and burning till you get what you see - I think the area you've pointed out was actually a museum light - just didn't burn our as well.

I think the best part of these locos is the lovely deep reds they have oin the front.

Cheers again

Ade

Really neat Ade. The wide angle has made that buffer so predominant. Impressive. Well done.

Great capture Ade, again I do like what you have done with the ceiling and the shades of black have come out great - I cannot make out the noise that someone mentioned ... guess my eyes are going ;-)

Best wishes,
Steve
