yeah..what is it..looks like cross between a slinky and egg batter..

Mary Sue Hayward   {K:17525} 4/4/2005
It is a mysterious object...known only to those who occasionally whisk a little fun into their lives.

It's so beautiful I don't want to know what it is. That's when you know it's a good abstract.

Eric Goldwasser   {K:4273} 4/5/2005
An excellent shot MS. I love it. Great color in the background. The whisk looks great too. Perhaps a followup with batter all over it? ;-)

Lex Bronkhorst   {K:14152} 4/7/2005
You have some really impressing macro shots, i was also impressed by "5167" the colours in this shot are well balanced, the orange/red colours on the steel look really amazing. Really a wonderfull picutre! Compliments!
Greets, Lex

Hi Mary Sue, Incredible DOF, and a very strong use of complementary colours. I like th e touch of orange competing with the green in the background. Another thing I find fascinating is my complete cluelessness about the nature of this thing I'm looking at.

Cheers,

Hugo

"Go!"

Is this a megacombo or just a supercombo?

I agree with Hugo about the color combination. I'm gonna have to try this. It's very cool!

How do you like that lens?

Lily     {K:10991} 4/8/2005
One of the best entries for the current project. Excellent idea, love the title.
A BIP imho.

and excellent abstract and macro. Love the shapes and the colors. I am a geometry teacher and I love all the geometric forms

Laura Spell   {K:24080} 4/14/2005
What an interesting composition! THe colors are muted, but the shape holds my attention very well.

Kim Culbert   {K:36791} 4/17/2005
Love the DOF here, and all the great lines leading to a powerful conjunction!
Looks like you and the Canon Digi are having a grant time together! Making some great shots! Hope to see more soon!

I love the clarity and color in your shots. You shoot what I call the "Martha Stewart" way which has the white-whites and the clean look. Really magazine quality shots. In this shot - you did a wonderful DOF choice and it looks wonderful. You really made the whisk an interesting item. :)
Thanks for your comment on "Balancing Act" - I am glad to be made aware of your work. I really enjoy it.

Arun Madisetti   {K:459} 6/3/2005

Kevin Collier   {K:19076} 7/5/2005
This is a super shot - I love the limited DOD and the way the metal turns orange-(I assume from the warm afternoon light). well done - K

AJ Miller   {K:43709} 1/7/2006
A very nice abstract with good use of DOF. I like the subtle green and orange tones as well.
