About I really like the diagonal formed by this very upright daff. Still playing and learning to handle and use the camera. I think my reflector was a little misplaced as the shadow is still a little harsh. Mirror lockup, tripod and remote release used.

Thanks for the advice Sal, in fact I always take several different exposures and this was the most true-to-life. The problem with a longer exposure is it no longer captures the black background as black, the camera turns it a dull grey.
