This is superb! your idea did noy work effectib\vely with the S1 IS :( the lens of A75 is small, thats helps a lot.

I am sorry to head that :( How bad is it? Are you doing everything right? Remamber, you should use a 'tele' zoom position and expect it to focus no more then a few cm from the objective.

The problem is I need to put the zoom on 5-6X to get the black space out, and on that zoom, 3->4 mm will destroy the focus, I need a big lens diamiter, because the S1 IS front lens is bigger than A75. Thanks very much for the idea, your job is creative, I admit.

What do you mean '3->4 mm will destroy the focus'?
You get a DoF of 3-4mm? If so, that's perfectly normal (I am getting 2-3mm max). Shoot at Av, f/8 and learn to live with it :) It takes a bit of getting used to but even with such a narrow DoF it is possible to get sharp bug photos.
