About As i was hiking along durring this wind strom my ears were aching from the constant trashing, but i was so enamored with the view that i continued on my travels logging close to 300 fantastic images in 2 hours. Not hard to do in Heliwell Park. Just one stunning view after another.

Well done. It sure did look very windy that day. You have an excellent portfolio. After browsing through your photos, it makes me want to take a trip up to Canada.

A very well captured picture of raging wind. I can see that from the waves on the water and the way trees and grass leaning to the right...
Fantastic capture indeed. The color representation is very nice too

Hi Tim, As solid as ever.... It's good to see that somethings remain as they were, only to match the inflation of my memory....

Cheers,

Hugo

So glad that you are enjoying what is near home. Something we all need to start doing more of. But we seem to think we have to drive across the country to find anything worth while.
Great shot

Still cranking out one great shot after another - did cleaning the camera help?

Tim  Schumm   {K:29024} 4/8/2005
Hi Michael
Funny enough when i was swaping out lens i just gave a big blow into the prism area and low and behold most of the big dust spots are gone ... well just for a while, life is dusty..lol

Michael Kanemoto   {K:22109} 4/8/2005
Hmmm - slapping the D70 hard actually improved performance? Not an optimal solution, but I guess if it works... Fairly robust body for a non professional camera. At least mine has taken a minor beating.

Tim  Schumm   {K:29024} 4/9/2005
hahaaha......no not blow as in hitting it....blow as in wind....

Debarshi Duttagupta   {K:26800} 4/9/2005
What a beautiful scenery TIMM. I was missing Hornby Island shots for sometime now. Thanks.

Carsten Ranke   {K:14470} 4/9/2005
Wind, shadows, clouds, ground lines - all together form a nice diagonal. Lighting and movement on the water adds suspense, and vivid colors are my taste. In short: superb landscape.

Lori Stitt   {K:74598} 4/9/2005
WOW...yes, VERY windy indeed, all those whitecaps. You really captured this well.
